PI Event Frames Data

Statistica PI Event Frames Data interactive module node dialog box can be accessed by using PI tab in main menu. The PI Event Frames Query is generated using this interactive module. This can act as an input for PI Event Frames workspace node.

Option Description
PI Server This is a composite control in PI Event Frames Data dialog box and it contains a drop-down list, show list and button.
  • PI Server: Select this option to connect to the PI server.
  • PI Server showlist: Click this button to display the list of PI servers. Use PI servers dialog box to add or remove servers from the list.
  • PI Server Connect: Click this button to connect to the selected PI server.
Asset Framework Database This is a composite control in PI Event Frames Data dialog box and it contains a dropdown list and showlist button.
  • PI Asset Framework Database: Select this option to query the PI asset framework database.
  • PI Asset Framework Database showlist: Click this button to display the list of PI Asset Framework databases. Use this dialog box to add or remove databases from the list.
Event Frame Search This is a composite control in PI Event Frames Data dialog box and it contains Search button, Criteria section and Results section.
  • Search: Select this option to determine the method to specify when the desired event frames occurred.
  • Search Start: Use this textbox to enter a PI time expression that specifies the start of the time period used to search for event frames.
  • Search End: Use this textbox to enter a PI time expression that specifies the end of the time period used to search for event frames.
  • In Progress: Select this check box to restrict matching event frames to those that have not yet finished.
  • All Descendants: Select this check box to search all levels of the event frame hierarchy below the specified root for matching event frames.
  • Name: Use this textbox to enter the name of the event frame to retrieve, based on the filter type. You can enter special characters to match part of a name.
  • Element Name: Use this textbox to enter a PI AF element that must be the parent of any retrieved event frames. You can enter special characters to match part of a name.
  • Add Criteria: Click this button to add additional criteria for event frame search.
OK Click this button to return metadata on the selected event frames or all event frames, if none is selected. This metadata is returned from the Results section of the dialog box.
Reset Click this button to reset the search criteria specified in the Search and Criteria section.
