Statistica Integration Administrator Preferences in Spotfire
The administrator can set values for certain preferences or settings for various components using the Preferences tab on Administration Manager dialog box.
The Statistica extension registers a ConfigFolder preference that can be administered at a server level. A value provided for ConfigFolder here serves as the default value for the Configuration setting for all instances of Spotfire Analyst that connect to the current server. The user can override the default by selecting a folder through the Settings tab. The files in this folder that have valid structure and content are used to override defaults.
For example, if this folder contains a file named statopts.xml, the settings specified by this file are used instead of default settings. The settings specified by this file cover a wide range and some of these settings can be accessed in Statistica through the Options dialog box. To open the dialog box, go to in Statistica. Through this mechanism, the administrator can specify a wide range of options at a server level, such as the Spark Livy server to use, the number of processors to use, or the maximum number of groups to use for By-Group analysis.
