Association Rules

Detects relationships or associations between specific values of categorical variables in large data sets.

General

Element Name Description
Minimum support Enter the minimum support for any association rule to be included in the final results.
Minimum confidence Enter the minimum confidence (conditional probability) for any association rule to be included in the final results.
Minimum Correlation Enter the minimum correlation value for any association rule to be included in the final results.
Maximum item set size in body Enter the maximum number of items (codes,text values) for the Body portion of an association rule.
Maximum item set size in head Enter the maximum number of items (codes,text values) for the Head portion of an association rule.

Network graph

Element Name Description
Min head size These parameters determine the minimum and maximum complexity ('size') of the association rules to be included in the rule network graphs.
Max Head Size These parameters determine the minimum and maximum complexity ('size') of the association rules to be included in the rule network graphs.
Detail of computed results reported Detail of results reported. If Comprehensive level of detail is selected, rule network graphs will be generated; when All results is selected various support graphs and spreadsheets are computed.
