Mixture Design Creation

Creates experimental designs for mixtures (where the sum of factor values must be constant). STATISTICA will create Simplex-Lattice and Simplex-Centroid designs.

General

Element Name Description
Type of design Select a standard simplex-lattice design or a standard simplex-centroid design.
Number of factors Enter the number of factors for the design.
Lattice polynomial degree Enter the polynomial degree m for the simplex lattice design; this option is not applicable if a simplex-centroid design is selected.
Augment simplex Augments the standard designs (simplex lattice and simplex centroid) with interior points.
Ordering of runs Specifies ordering method for runs in design; Random or Standard (sequential).
Random number seed Optional, if random ordering is selected; provide here a seed from 1 to 99999999 to create the random sequence of runs for the design.
Number of replicates Add to design option: Number of replicates to add to the design (minimum 0, maximum 300).
Number of blank columns Add to design option: Number of blank columns to add to the design spreadsheet (minimum 0, maximum 300).
