Categorized Box Plots
Creates Categorized Box Plots for all continuous dependent variables with each categorical predictor as X-Category and each dependent categorical variable as grouping variable and Y-Category (optionally)
| Element Name | Description |
|---|---|
| General | |
| Graph type | Select the type of box plot to be plotted from the Graph Type. |
| Middle Point | Use mean or median as the middle point to plot the 2D Boxes. |
| Pooled Variance | Specifies if pooled variance is used in calculations if Middle Point Mean is being used. |
| Connect Middle Points | If True, connects the middle points of each box. |
| Trim Distribution Extremes | Determines the percentage of extremes to be trimmed from the distribution when plotted. |
| Fit Type | Fits a curve as specified by this parameter to each plot. |
| Boxes | |
| Mean Box Value | Method used to determine box upper and lower limits for Mean Middle Point. |
| Mean Box Coefficient | Specifies the coefficient of the boxes for Mean Middle Point. |
| Median Box Value | Method used to determine box upper and lower limits for Median Middle Point. |
| Median Box Coefficient | Specifies the coefficient of the boxes for Median Middle Point. |
| Whiskers / Outliers | |
| Mean Whisker Value | Specifies the middle point type for Mean Middle Point. |
| Mean Whisker Coefficient | Specifies the middle point coefficient for Mean Middle Point. |
| Median Whisker Value | Specifies the middle point type for Median Middle Point |
| Median Whisker Coefficient | Specifies the middle point coefficient for Median Middle Point. |
| Outliers | Specifies the outlier type to display. |
| Outlier Coefficient | Specifies the coefficient of the outliers. |
| Grouping | |
| Grouping type | Specifies the type of categorization to use for the grouping variable. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
| Number of intervals | Specifies the number of intervals to use when the categorization type is set to categories. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
| X-Category | |
| X-category type | Specifies the type of categorization to use for the X-categorical variable. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
| Number of intervals | Specifies the number of intervals to use when the categorization type is set to categories. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
| Y-Category | |
| Y-category type | Specifies the type of categorization to use for the Y-categorical variable. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
| Number of intervals | Specifies the number of intervals to use when the categorization type is set to categories. Note that if codes are available, they will be used instead. |
