Statistics by Groups Results
Click the
Summary button in the
Statistics by Groups (Breakdown Individual tables
This dialog box contains five tabs:
Use the options on these tabs to calculate various statistics as well as graphs of the data.

Summary box
The Summary box lists your choices for the dependent variable and grouping (independent) variables as well as the codes for the grouping variables.
Copy button
Click this button to copy either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color, etc.).
Contract/Expand button
Click this button to contract or expand the Summary box.
When contracted, you can see only one line of the Summary box text and can scroll through the text using a scroll bar. Note that when contracted the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire Summary box is displayed in the Results dialog box.
Summary
Click this button to produce a summary table of descriptive statistics broken down by the grouping variables.
The statistics reported in the table depend on the selections in the Statistics group box on the Descriptives tab.
Cancel
Click this button to return to the
Statistics by Groups (Breakdown)
Options
Click this button to display the Options menu.
