One Variance: Power Calculation Results
Power Analysis and Sample Size Calculation in Experimental Design
Click the OK button in the One Variance: Power Calculation Parameters dialog box to display the One Variance: Power Calculation Results dialog box, which contains two tabs: Quick and Settings I/O.
Summary box
The Summary box at the top of the dialog box shows the current fixed, or baseline, parameters for the analysis. These can be altered at any time without losing any changes in the settings of the current dialog box by clicking the Change Parameters button.

Calculate Power
Click the Calculate Power button to calculate power for the currently selected fixed parameters. A spreadsheet containing the fixed parameters and the results of the power analysis will be created. The fixed parameters are discussed in the
One Variance: Power Calculation Parameters dialog box topic. Key results are the critical value of chi-square, the value used for the Statistical test, and the actual power.
Change Parameters
Click the Change Parameters button to alter the fixed parameters from the
One Variance: Power Calculation Parameters dialog box without losing any changes in the settings of the current dialog box.
Back
