Custom Max Column Width
You can open the Custom Max Column Width dialog in the following ways.
- Ribbon bar. Select the View tab. In the Display group, click Max Column Width and on the menu, select Customize to display the Custom Max Column Width dialog.
- Classic menus. On the View - Max. Displayed Column Width submenu, select Customize to display the Custom Max Column Width dialog.

| Enter max column width | Type a value in this box to specify the maximum width (in inches) of columns (variables) in the spreadsheet. |
| OK | Accepts the width entered and closes the dialog. |
| Cancel | Closes the dialog. Any changes made are disregarded. |
