Time Series Analysis - Specify Start Values

Select the User-defined start values check box in the Estimation options group box on the Single Series ARIMA dialog - Advanced tab or the Interrupted Time Series ARIMA (Intervention Analysis) dialog - Options tab, and then click the adjacent    button, to display the Specify start values dialog.

Enter a value in the adjacent boxes for each parameter listed in this dialog to specify the parameter start values to be used in the first iteration of the estimation procedure. For details concerning the (interrupted time series) ARIMA model parameters and the estimation procedure, refer to the Overview.

Element Name	Description
OK	Click the OK button to accept the values entered and return to the model specification dialog.
Cancel	Click the Cancel button to return to the model specification dialog. Any changes made in the Specify start values dialog will be ignored.
Common value	Enter a value in the Common value box to specify a common value to use for all parameters.
Apply	Click the Apply button to apply the value specified in the Common value box to all the parameters.
