This release includes the following new features and updates:
The mobile app underwent a significant upgrade to update its core technologies to recent versions.

This release contains no changes in functionality.
This release includes no changes to third-party libraries.
This release includes the following closed issues:
[MODA-4725] When a primary key field data type is boolean, errors display after saving a record.
[MODA-5394] Themes and color configurations are not applied correctly when configured in the perspective.
The known issues for this release are outlined in the following sections.
The following limitations apply when accessing and displaying data in the mobile app:
The app only works when connected to the server. When the app is unable to connect to the server, users are given the option cancel or change servers.
When opening a shared link in the app:
Only tables, records, views and workflow tasks are accessible.
Only links with the same domain and port configuration as the EBX GO Add-on are supported.
In iOS an https link is opened in Safari by default.
Data in previous pages does not automatically refresh when the in-app locale configuration changes. A manual refresh is required; by swiping the screen down.
Records from a data set with a fatal error do not display in the Favorites page.
The total number of a record's errors/warnings are invalid when a table has more than 100 validation messages.
A multi-valued field's error indicator does not display.
The date and boolean values only display in the technical format.
Association links only display when the association's Data services field is set to Included in Data Services.
Snapshots are not accessible.
Display of pruned hierarchy nodes is not supported.
A work item's shared link cannot be opened in the app.
A hierarchical view that defines a dimension as a resource type does not display as expected.
A comparison that defines the filter ‘persistedValuesOnly’ on a workflow does not work as expected.
If a user compares two records that contain fields of Time or Date and time data types, the data does not display as expected.
If a group defines a maximum number of values and it located inside another group that also defines a maximum of values, data cannot be viewed.
The following limitations apply when configuring perspectives and the user interface in the mobile app:
The only perspective service types supported are:
The default access data service which supports table, record, or view access.
Data workflows to allow access to the workflows inbox.
User Interface customization is not available.
Support for multi-color SVG files used for icons is not included. All SVG files will be converted to monochrome.
Anytime the configuration is changed in the add-on, users have to log out of, and back into the app to see updates.
User services are not supported.
The following limitations apply when searching and filtering data in the mobile app:
The mobile app does not currently support applying sort to fuzzy or error search results.
Only the following data types are supported for filtering: HTML, string, text, email, XML, and foreign key.
For associations, exact search and advanced search are supported. For the simple tabular view, exact search, validation search and advanced search are supported.
For history, exact search and advanced search are supported.
In the validation search results for a DAM field, the number of errors/warnings cannot be displayed for each DAM field.
Incorrect results display when searching on the hierarchical view and a dimension is defined using a recursive foreign key.
It is not currently possible to display the label of a foreign key field in the Advanced Search page although it is defined in EBX®.
The following limitations apply to app notifications and workflows:
Native notifications only work when the application is running in background mode.
In the app you can only use workflow tasks for tables and records, not those for data sets and data spaces.
Special workflow configurations such as Enable confirmation request, Comment required, Reminder and Hidden in graph view are not currently available.
The following limitations apply to features when using EBX® Digital Asset Manager Add-on functionality:
Only png, jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, and PDF files can be previewed.
Display of asset thumbnails in a custom tabular view is limited to a single value mediaType field located first in the record.
It is not currently possible to display thumbnails in a custom hierarchical view.
Thumbnails for gif images cannot be displayed. GIF images display as their actual size.
If a group contains a DAM field and a maximum number of values is set for the field in the data model, assets cannot be viewed, attached, or detached.
In iOS, you can only upload the following images types: PNG, JPEG, JPG, BMP, and GIF.
The app may crash if a large file is uploaded (over 20 Mb).
Using a Digital Asset Manager Drive that accesses an externally managed storage location to edit or add digital assets is not supported.
The following limitations apply to features when using EBX® Information Search Add-on capabilities:
In the hierarchical and tabular views detailed results display as the global search default view.
Keywords used in EBX® searches are not synchronized with the app.
This release contains the following general limitations:
The comparison feature in the mobile app only works with EBX® 5.9.0 Fix A or later. This also applies to workflows launched from EBX® prior to version 5.9.0 Fix A.
The EBX GO mobile app on Android cannot connect using the HTTPS protocol when deploying TIBCO EBX® on WebLogic.
