Installation Requirements

Before you run the installer, ensure that the environment meets all the hardware and software requirements and that you have appropriate privileges to run the installer.

Required Software

TIBCO FTL® Release 6.0 is required to run the the eFTL service component. That is, before you install the eFTL service component, the target installation environment must already contain FTL.

The FTL server of TIBCO FTL Release 6.0 is required to configure the eFTL service component.

  • Installer Account
    Ensure that you have appropriate privileges, depending on the platform on which you are installing.
  • Hardware and Software Requirements
    For information about the hardware and software requirements, supported platforms, and other important information, see the product readme file.
  • Ports
    The following table lists the ports used by TIBCO eFTL and related software. If these ports are not available when you test an installed process, you must explicitly configure substitutes.
