Preparing an eFTL Service

Complete these steps to enable TIBCO eFTL services.

Prerequisites

You have configured an eFTL cluster using the TIBCO FTL realm server GUI.

Procedure

  1. Define an eFTL cluster and services using the TIBCO FTL server GUI.
  2. Configure FTL servers to provide eFTL services.
  3. Optional. Configure SSL parameters that eFTL services use to communicate with the EMS server.
    See "SSL Parameters for EMS Reference."
  4. Optional. Configure the ems.path parameter in the FTL server configuration file.
    If you configure EMS channels in eFTL clusters, you must complete this step.
  5. Start or restart the FTL servers that provide eFTL services.
    An FTL server automatically provides eFTL service according to its configuration file.
