Purpose

Create a session object.

Note: connection and session have usage pointer.

Parameters

Parameter Description
connection Create a session on this connection.
session Store the new session in this location.
transacted When true, the new session has transaction semantics.

When false, it has non-transaction semantics.

acknowledgeMode Determine the acknowledge mode of the session.

Supply a value enumerated by tibemsAcknowledgeMode.

Remarks

The new session uses the connection for all server communications.
