Language Environment Requirement
The Assembler, C, and COBOL for MVS compilers are required for application development under language environment.
Note: IBM TCP uses the OE socket interface. Therefore, all user IDs running EMS client programs must have an OMVS UID and GID. Define these values in the OMVS segment of the USERID and GROUP records in RACF.
