Indometh
Pharmacokinetics of Indomethicin
Description
Data on the plasma concentrations of Indomethicin following
intravenous injection. There are six different subjects in the
experiment and the times of sampling are the same for each subject.
These times range from 15 minutes post injection to 8 hours post
injection.
Usage
Indometh
Value
This data frame contains the following columns:
Subject |
a factor indicating the subject from whom the sample is drawn.
|
time |
time at which the sample was drawn (hr. post injection).
|
conc |
observed plasma concentration of indomethicin (mcg/ml).

Source
These data are given in Kwan, Breault, Umbenhauer, McMahon, and Duggan
(1976), "Kinetics of Indomethicin absorption, elimination, and
enterohepatic circulation in man",
Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmaceutics,
4, 255--280. They are analyzed in section
2.1 of Davidian and Giltinan (1995), "Nonlinear Models for Repeated
Measurement Data", Chapman and Hall, London.
