Longley's Regression Data
Description
The longley.x and longley.y data sets contain regression data from a study by J.W. Longley. The regression is known to be highly collinear. 
Arguments
| longley.x | matrix with 6 columns giving the GNP implicit price deflator (where 1954=100), the GNP, the number of unemployed people, the number of people in the armed forces, the noninstitutionalized population 14 years of age and older, and the year. | 
| longley.y | number of people employed annually, from 1947 to 1962. | 
| longley | a data frame made from the longley.x matrix and the longley.y
vector. |
