Gets the order of a spline.
Usage

Arguments

an object of class "bSpline" or "polySpline".

Details
splineOrder is a generic function used to get the order of a spline.
Currently, only the invisible methods splineOrder.bSpline and
splineOrder.polySpline are implemented for class "bSpline"
and "polySpline", respectively. There is no default method.
Value
returns the order of the spline. The order is one more than the degree of
of the polynomials in the spline.
