Creating a TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe Connection

You must create a TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe connection before you can use the activities of Flogo® Connector for TIBCO Cloud™ AuditSafe . TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe connection contains the parameters required to connect to the resources in a TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe account using OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanism. The TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe connection is used by all the activities in the AuditSafe category.

Prerequisites

Before you create a connection, familiarize yourself with TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe.

Use the following procedure to create a connection:
  1. In TIBCO Flogo® Enterprise, click the Connections tab and perform one of the following actions:
    • To add a connection for the first time, click the TIBCO AuditSafe Connector tile.
    • If you have existing connections and want to add a new connection, click the Add Connection link and then click the TIBCO AuditSafe Connector tile.
  2. Enter the connection details in the TIBCO AuditSafe Connector dialog box. For field descriptions, see the topic TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe Connection Details.
  3. Click Save Connection.

Generating OAuth Token

To generate OAuth token for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe , perfom the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings from your profile.
  2. Click Generate Token on the OAuth access tokens tab under OAuth access.
  3. In the Generate OAuth 2 token dialog box, enter the name, validity period, and select the domain as AuditSafe.
  4. Click Generate.
Note: The OAuth token is only specific to the organization. For example, if you are associated with two organizations, you need to generate two separate tokens, one for each organization. This requirement also applies to the parent-child organization.
