Creating a Magento Connection

You must create a Magento connection before you can use the TIBCO Flogo® Connector for Magento. The Magento connection contains the parameters required to connect to the Magento server.

Prerequisites

Before you create a connection, familiarize yourself with Magento. For details on how to use the Magento product, see the Magento product documentation.

To create a TIBCO Flogo® Connector for Magento connection, click the Connections tab on the Flogo® Enterprise page.

If this is the first connection you are adding, follow these steps:
  1. Click Add Connection to open the connector dialog.
  2. Select the Magento Connector tile from the list, or use search to find the connector.
  3. Enter the values for the fields in the resulting dialog box. See Magento Connection Details for a description of the fields.
  4. Click Test to test the connection.
  5. Click Save to save the connection.

If you already have existing connections for any connector in Flogo® Enterprise, the connections are displayed on the Connections tab.

Note: Connections created with version 1.0 of the Magento connector are no longer supported. If you select such a connection in an activity, an error is displayed.
  1. Click an existing connection.
  2. Click the Edit button on the right.
  3. Enter the values for the fields in the resulting dialog box. See Magento Connection Details for a description of the fields.
  4. Click Test to test the connection.
  5. Click Save to save the connection.
