MarketoRetrieve

You can use this activity to retrieve resources, such as leads, list, campaigns, opportunity, opportunity role, company, and custom objects.

Configuration

The Configuration tab has the following fields.

Field Description
Connection Name of the Marketo connection from which to retrieve information
Object The objects to be retrieved. The following objects are available:
  • Leads
  • List
  • Campaigns
  • Opportunity
  • Opportunity Role
  • Company
  • Custom objects created by you
Action Operations that you can perform to retrieve information associated with the selected object. The available operations varies according to the objects that you specified. For detailed information, see the Marketo documentation.
Note: This field is available only when you select the Leads, List, and Campaigns.
If you select the Leads object, the following actions are available:
  • Lead by Id: you can retrieve a single lead record from Marketo, with fields requested for a lead identified by the lead ID.
  • Multiple Leads: you can retrieve the lead records from Marketo for a group of leads that match the filter criteria.
  • Multiple Leads by List: you can retrieve multiple leads from a given list ID.
  • Lead Activity: you can retrieve activities for the requested activity types, such as form fill out or lead creation.
  • Lead Changes: you can retrieve change data value for leads.
If you select the List object, the following actions are available:
  • List by Id: you can retrieve a single list using the list ID.
  • Multiple Lists: you can retrieve multiple lists through some filters. For example, IDs, names, programNames, and workspaceNames.
  • Member of List: you can check whether leads are a member of list.
If you select the Campaigns object, the following actions are available:
  • Campaign by Id: you can retrieve a campaign using a campaign ID.
  • Multiple Campaigns: you can retrieve multiple campaigns.

No actions are available for custom objects since custom objects themselves are considered as endpoints.

Output Settings

The fields that you select in this tab will be available in the output schema in the Output tab.

Field Description
Field Selector

You can retrieve the leads by selecting the fields that you want. The Field Selector displays only the fields pertaining to the object you selected in the Configuration tab. The fields you select here will be available in the Output tab schema.

Input

Field Description
input Specify the fields that you require. You can use the mapper under the Search text box to map these fields or type them in manually. The information in this field varies depending on the object and its action that you selected in the Configuration tab. See the Marketo User's Guide under the "Connectors for TIBCO Business Studio™" node for more details.
search Use this text box to search for a field in the mapper.

Output

This tab displays the activity output schema in a tree structure format. The output of an activity is displayed for informational purposes only and cannot be modified or altered. The information in this schema varies depending on the object and its action that you selected in the Configuration tab. See the Marketo User's Guide under the "Connectors for TIBCO Business Studio™" node for more details.

The properties that are displayed in the Output tab schema correspond to the output of this activity and can be used as input by subsequent activities in the flow.
