2. Install your database software (Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle) and configure a database and database user as needed by TIBCO Administrator and PortalBuilder.
3. Install TIBCO Runtime Agent, TIBCO BusinessWorks, and TIBCO Administrator. See Summary of Installation Steps for more details.
4. Upon completion of the TIBCO Administrator installation, the installer will automatically launch the Domain Utility to create the administration domain. Proceed with creating the domain, ensuring to check the box for Domain data stored in a database and make sure that your TIBCO Administrator Tomcat ports are not in conflict with the Tomcat installed in step 1 that will serve PortalBuilder.
5. Install PortalBuilder. As part of the installation process, the PortalBuilder installer will deploy PortalBuilder to the Tomcat servlet container.You can use the default application domain, or you can create a separate application domain to deploy the PortalBuilder and BusinessWorks FormBuilder applications.
8. Edit the property file TIBCO-home/administrator/domain/domain/tibcoadmin_domain.tra, changing the value of java.property.tra_deploy_timeout to 3600, if it is not already set to this value.
