The goal of deployment is to create a web application that can run in a J2EE-compliant servlet container. The deployment model is based on the combination of a service and a container. A container is a logical container, such as a servlet engine, that can be configured to have a run-time process. A service is a design time entity, such as a Process Archive or FormBuilder Archive, that can run on the process associated with a container.
When you deploy an archive in TIBCO Administrator, design- and run-time components are merged with specified deployment descriptors. The result is a web application consisting of formflows and related resources that can run in an instance of FormBuilder Desktop.
