Summary of Deployment Steps

Deploying a formflow application consists of the following steps:

1.

Start the TIBCO Administrator service (if it is not running).

2.

Start the TIBCO Hawk Agent service (if it is not running).

3.

Start the servlet engine. For instructions, see Running a Servlet Engine. The servlet engine instance must be registered to a TIBCO administration domain you are using and must also be running.

If there are more registered domains on your machine, make sure that no other servlet engines, registered to these other domains, are running at the same time.

All services should be deployed on the same servlet engine.

4.

In TIBCO Administrator, load the archive that you created in TIBCO Designer, and then deploy the application. For instructions, see Creating and Deploying Formflow Applications.

5.

After this process is complete, FormBuilder Desktop can run in the servlet container.

Depending on your machine’s hardware and configuration, as well as on the complexity of the deployed application, deployment can take 4 to 10 minutes.
