Summary of Installation Steps

This section provides an overview of how to install TIBCO BusinessWorks FormBuilder software and required components. Read this section for a summary of prerequisites and the order in which software components must be installed. On UNIX platforms, the same user should install all TIBCO product components. For details, see Before Installing on UNIX Platforms.

For supported versions of required components, see the readme.txt file provided with this release. For more details about the software packages to install, refer to Required Software.

1.	Install the following software packages

a.	TIBCO Runtime Agent software

For a detailed explanation refer to TIBCO Runtime Agent Installation.

b.	TIBCO BusinessWorks software

For a detailed explanation refer to TIBCO BusinessWorks Installation.

c.	TIBCO Administrator software

For a detailed explanation refer to TIBCO Adiministrator Installation.

d.	Servlet engine

For detailed explanation refer to Installing a Servlet Engine.

If prompted, reboot your machine after installing any required TIBCO component and before installing TIBCO BusinessWorks FormBuilder.

2.	Use Domain Utility to create a TIBCO administration domain

This utility was installed with TIBCO Runtime Agent. To learn more, refer to TIBCO Runtime Agent Domain Utility User’s Guide.

3.	Install TIBCO BusinessWorks FormBuilder software

This installation is described in the section Installing BusinessWorks FormBuilder.

4.	Start Domain Utility and register a servlet engine

These steps are described in Adding and Removing a Servlet Engine.
