Overview

When a form is created in TIBCO Designer, each control has a set of attributes. Some control attributes, such as the text label on a button, can be localized and are listed on the Localizable tab. When you are ready to create localized versions of the forms, these attributes can be exported to a properties file and translated. Each form can have multiple localized versions. Browser settings determine which version is used to render the form.

TIBCO BusinessWorks FormBuilder provides two equivalent methods for localizing forms:

•	Editing resource bundles in TIBCO Designer.

In TIBCO Designer, edit the ResourceBundle resource, creating a separate Locale Properties resource for each locale.

•	Editing resource bundles outside of TIBCO Designer.

In TIBCO Designer, export a resource bundle, modify the properties file in a third-party editor, then import the resource bundle back into TIBCO Designer.
