Updating Catalog

You can use the command provadmin update catalog to reload catalog information that you have changed manually. This command performs the following steps:

  • Reloads the conf/cpr.def, conf/cps.def, and any related Process Order Flow files.

  • If a configuration directory is specified, it copies the INI and XML files to the working conf directory.

  • It stops and restarts the catalog. No Kabira Infrastructure Server engines are stopped.

If the new catalog files contain errors, the catalog will not restart. The files must be fixed. Check journal.0.log for more details about the errors. Run provadmin update catalog again.
