Sample ex05 - Service Order Optimization (SOO) with Merger Instructions in the Config File

This example demonstrates Service Order Optimization(SOO) with the merger instructions in the config file. The component soo.kab is added to Fulfillment Provisioning.kds. The WO/CWO translation in the datamapping file is set properly.

The WorkOrder merging is set in the cfg files of the cartridge. The following three ServiceOrder files are processed:
  • manualorder01.xml: the WorkOrder's are mergeable.
  • manualorder02.xml: both WorkOrder's are mergeable but the one WorkOrder fails.
  • manaulorder03.xml: the WorkOrder's are not mergeable.
Note: This example requires the SOO product.

The files from ex00 are first copied to the $NODE/conf directory and then the ex05 files are copied and may overwrite some files from the following directory:
