TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog Review
TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog is integrated into a Fulfillment Provisioning flow through the Service Order Processing module. For each service order that reaches Service Order Processing, the service order data corresponding to the ready-to-process service order is passed to the Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog for enrichment. By this time, the service order data already contains a set of product orders to be provisioned.
TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog operates on the set of product orders, deriving an additional set of product orders from them, which it evaluates to:
-
Check requestor is a known user with valid password and granted rights to provision product orders (This is an optional step).
-
Validate product orders individually and in relation to each other.
-
Append or insert other product orders as necessary.
-
Remove any inapplicable product orders.
-
Enrich the data content of product orders, where needed.
The Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog also attaches the following to each of the finished product orders:
-
The appropriate product order flow.
-
The appropriate rollback product order when order has first failed and returns to SOP module.
This is all done according to rules and conditions that you configure using the TIBCO Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog web management pages.
