Product Order Flow

Each technical product order is associated with a product order flow, which is selected by Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog from a catalog of predefined product order flows. This flow regulates the processing of work orders contained by the technical product order.

Source of The Flow

You create a product order flow as an activity diagram using Fulfillment Studio and export it as an XML file using the BPMN tool. This XML file, containing one or more product order flows, is then loaded into Fulfillment Provisioning and maintained in a catalog of product order flows. As part of the data enrichment process, Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog associates each technical product order with one of these predefined flows based on other details of the product order.

Function of The Flow

The product order flow specifies the sequence of tasks (work orders) that must be performed to implement a technical product order. When the technical product order is executed, the work orders are invoked on cartridges to provision and activate service elements.
