Iterative Fulfillment

Iterative Fulfillment is a service involving multiple network elements of the same type for its fulfillment, to execute same set of actions over many network elements. For example, end customer location or network structure for a chain of DSLAM.

Iterative Fulfillment provides capability to iterate execution of an action or a set of actions. The context of execution is specific to each occurrence. The Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog is used to decompose OrderLine into a graph of Technical Orders.

Many instances of the same Technical Order can be present in the graph. If the corresponding kop::TechProduct is configured as multiple instances, each instance is added when running a Rule or decomposing an OrderLine.

This enhancement allows you to perform and configure the following in Fulfillment Provisioning:

  • Create many instances of the same Technical Order when decomposing a single OrderLine.
  • Create many instances of a set of Technical Order when decomposing a single OrderLine.
  • Sequence the created instances of Technical Orders to be processed either simultaneously or sequentially.
  • Sequence the created set of instances of Technical Orders to be processed either simultaneously or sequentially.
  • Sequence decomposed instances of Technical Orders without setting a prepend, append, or substitute rule.
  • Set specific key parameter while creating an instance of Technical Order (for poMapping).
