Sample ex05 - Service Order Optimization (SOO) with Merger Instructions in the soc/act File

This example demonstrates Service Order Optimization(SOO) using the soc/act file. The components soo.kab and womergertest.kab are added to Fulfillment Provisioning.kds. The WO/CWO translation in the datamapping file is set properly.

The WorkOrder merging is done using the soc/act file. The following three ServiceOrder files are processed:
  • manualorder01.xml: the WorkOrder's are mergeable.
  • manualorder02.xml: both WorkOrder's are mergeable but the one WO fails.
  • manaulorder03.xml: the WorkOrder's are not mergeable.
Note: This example requires the SOO product.

The files from ex00 are first copied to the $NODE/conf directory and then the ex05 files are copied and may overwrite some files from the following directory:
