Node Management

You can connect a Fulfillment Provisioning node to the Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System if it has a running Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System engine. At startup, the Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System engine creates a file named node.yml inside the node directory. This file contains key parameters Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System is using to connect the Fulfillment Provisioning node.

Note: Each time a node is stopped and restarted, you have to reconnect to the FPOMS node. This action has to be done through the FPOMS plugin with the connect target or through the GUI using the node administration tab. You can also connect Fulfillment Provisioning node to FPOMS UI using the following command:
provadmin connect fpoms path=<Path to FPnode> port=<port> hostname=<hostname>

To add a node, click + New and enter information about the remote host where Fulfillment Provisioning is running. A ssh access must be available for the Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System to access the remote host. Valid hostname, port, login, password and path shall be set for the Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System to connect to the Fulfillment Provisioning node.

Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System, add a new node

Note:

Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System can also connect local Fulfillment Provisioning node, hostname shall be set to localhost, user, and port are then optional fields.

Then, Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System loads the node.yml file from the Fulfillment Provisioning node and adds a new clickable box in the "Film strip" corresponding to the newly added Fulfillment Provisioning node. The selected node displays four tabs.

  • Detail: Fulfillment Provisioning node parameters.

  • Client Adapters: List of client adapters.

  • Cartridge: List of cartridges.

  • Logs: List of logs Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System has loaded for this node.

Note: Fulfillment Provisioning Order Management System starts to gather csv files from the Fulfillment Provisioning node once node is connected. It also stores corresponding orders, alarms and order trace in the database.
