Converting Mapping Rules File to a StructureMap Resource

You can convert your mapping file into a StructureMap resource by using the convert option in the Foresight Connect with FHIR application. Note that you can convert data only for R4 resources.

Prerequisites

You must have access to the Foresight Connect with FHIR application.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Foresight Connect with FHIR application and click the Data Management tab. Ensure that FHIR Mapping Language is selected in the left pane.
  2. On the Convert tab, you can directly source data in the Input Data section.
  3. Alternatively, on the Convert tab, you can also provide an input data file by clicking Choose File.
    The contents of the input file are displayed in the Input Data section.
  4. To convert the input file to a StructureMap resource, click Convert.
    The converted file contents are displayed in the Response section.
  5. To save the converted file, click Save Response.
    Note: To download the response file to a desired location, you must disable the auto-download option in the browser.
  6. To clear the data on the page, click Reset.
