Transforming Data by Using FHIR Mapping Language

You can transform your data from one format to another by using a mapping rule in the Foresight Connect with FHIR application. Note that you can transform data by using the FHIR mapping language only for R4 resources.

1. Log in to the Foresight Connect with FHIR application and click the Data Management tab.
2. To select the source file that you want to transform, in the left pane, select FHIR Mapping Language and to select the source file on the Transform tab, click Choose File.
3. To transform the source file to another format, select either Mapping Rule or Structure Map based on the source file format.
4. To select the mapping rule or structure map, click Choose File and then click Transform.
5. Select the type of the output. You can select either XML or JSON.
6. Click Transform.
   The transformed file contents are displayed in the Response section.
7. To save the transformed file, click Save Response.
8. To clear the data on the page, click Reset.
