TIBCO Foresight® REST API

TIBCO Foresight® REST API is a web application designed to expose the Instream and Translator REST APIs, which can be used by any applications that require EDI/Flat File validation and/or EDI/Flat File/XML translation.

  • A standalone deployment of Foresight REST API is now supported where Foresight REST API can be deployed in a Docker or Kubernetes cluster without deploying BCCE.

  • An additional mountDir parameter is added when building the TIBCO Foresight® REST API image.

  • The optional parameter copyResultsFile is added in the Jobs POST request.

  • The parameter RestRetainJobsPath has been added to the .ini file. This parameter defines the directory where job result files, copied using the copyResultFile parameter, gets stored.

  • You can now integrate TIBCO Foresight® REST API with TIBCO Foresight® Transaction Insight®. As part of the functionality, the following parameters have been added to Foresight REST API, that is, skipTS, publishReport, createTrk, TIInbountPath, and TIOutboundPath.

  • The support for Java 17 is added in this release. Foresight REST API containers now run with Java 17.

  • The support for Tomcat 9.0.84 is added in this release. Foresight REST API container now uses Tomcat 9.0.84 version.
