Installing TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory

This chapter describes the installation of TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory using TIBCO Universal Installer TIBCOUniversalInstaller-<os platform>.bin.

TIBCO Universal Installer is a partial installer, hence requires TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory 1.0.0 to be installed before 1.0.1. Following are the prerequisites for installing TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory:
  • Check that TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory 1.0.0 is installed and configured in your computer. For more information, see the TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory Installation and Configuration Guide 1.0.0.
  • Check if the environmental variables FSI_HOME, FSI_CONFIG_HOME, JAVA_HOME, EMS_HOME, and PATH are set. For more information, see the "Setting the Environment Variables" section in theTIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory Installation and Configuration Guide 1.0.0
  • Generate a backup of the existing <FSI_HOME>/config/ConfigValues_FSI.xml file. This is because the installation of TIBCO Fulfillment Subscriber Inventory 1.0.1 overwrites the existing <FSI_HOME>/config/ConfigValues_FSI.xml file.
  • Generate a backup of fsi-server.war file from <FSI_HOME>/webapps directory.
