Upgraded log4j Version

In this release, the log4j version has been upgraded to 2.17.1. This comes with a change in the format of the log4j properties file.

Note: Each module which uses log4j has its own log4j properties file.

Modules that use log4j:

Archive and Retrieval System
Archiver Web Service
Archiver File Import Service
TIPurge
Operational Monitor

For example, The log4j properties file for Archive and Retrieval System is archiverLogConfig.properties and the one for Archiver web service is archiverWebServicesLogConfig.properties. These files are found in the bin directory of the Archiver installation.

Users can modify these properties files as per need. For details about the configuration of properties file, see https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/configuration.html
