Optional Post-Installation Steps on Linux

This post-installation task on Linux is optional. Consider completing this task only if you used an RPM-based or a DEB-based installer, and only if you need symbolic links from /usr/bin, /usr/lib, and /usr/include to the TIBCO FTL binaries and libraries.

If you create these symbolic links, then you do not have to add /opt/tibco/ftl/6.5/bin to the PATH, nor add /opt/tibco/ftl/6.5/lib to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to /opt/tibco/ftl/6.5/scripts.
  2. Run the post-installation scripts. 
    sudo post_install/*_install.sh
