Defining a Cluster

A cluster definition contains the configuration information for the eFTL service processes.

    Procedure
  1. Create a new cluster definition.
    1. In the eFTL clusters grid, add a new cluster definition row.
    2. Enter the name of the new cluster Cluster Name column.
    3. Optional. In the cluster details panel, add a description of the cluster.
  2. Add channels and configure their settings.

    You must add at least one channel.

  3. Optional. Connect FTL channels to FTL applications.

  4. As needed, set up authentication and authorization at the channel level including the Publish and Subscribe authorization groups. See Client Authentication and Authorization.
