Configuring Permissions

Permissions for users and roles can be configured from the user interface on the Users grid and Roles grid.

In edit mode, you can add and delete users and roles.

Users Grid

Column Description
User The FTL client's username.
Resource

The name of the resource. For example, the name of a destination.

Resource Type

The type of resource. Possible types:

  • Topic (destination)

  • Queue (destination)

  • Map (destination)

  • Persistence Store

  • Persistence Cluster

  • eFTL Channel

 

Permissions

The permissions granted to the user.

The available permissions depend on the resource type.

  • Topic: publish or subscribe

  • Queue: publish or subscribe

  • Map: map

  • Persistence Store: publish, subscribe, or map

  • Persistence Cluster: lock

  • eFTL Channel: publish, subscribe, or map

Roles Grid

Column Description
Roles The FTL client's role.
