Registry:getString

Method

 

Purpose

This method (on Microsoft Windows) returns a string (of the type REG_SZ) from the Microsoft Windows Registry by looking up the key and entry names you supply.

Remarks

The method processes REG_EXPAND_SZ strings by expanding any environment variable substitutions.

If no entry is found for the key and entry name, an error is returned.

Synchronous, IMPACT_INFO.
