Process:getInstanceCount

Method

Purpose

This method (on Solaris-SPARC) returns an instance count for the process denoted by the Process Name argument.

Remarks

Test any regular expressions you plan to use in rulebases by first using them interactively, to insure they return the desired results.

Type

Synchronous, IMPACT_INFO.

Arguments

 

Name	Type	Description
Process Name	String	Process name. Pattern match with regular expressions. Empty argument string returns combined instance count for all processes.
