Product Name : TIBCO Hawk(R)
Release Version : 6.2.0
Release Date : September 2019

======================================================================
Introduction

TIBCO Hawk is a sophisticated tool for monitoring and managing
distributed applications and systems throughout the enterprise.
With Hawk, system administrators can monitor application
parameters, behavior, and loading activities for all nodes in a
local or wide-area network and take action when pre-defined
conditions occur. In many cases, runtime failures or slowdowns
can be repaired automatically within seconds of their
discovery, reducing unscheduled outages and slowdowns of
critical business systems.

TIBCO Hawk 6.x introduces the option of using the TCP protocol
for Hawk interagent and interprocess communications (in lieu of
TIBCO Rendezvous).

Minimum Hardware Requirements

Disk Space: Disk space requirements vary by platform
and also depend on the availability of third-party
software. Up to 700Mb may be required for installing
               some configurations.

Memory: Minimum memory requirements vary by
platform and configuration of microagents. A minimum of
               512Mb should be expected.

TIBCO Product Compatibilities

   TIBCO Enterprise Message Service(TM) 8.2.1 - 8.5.0
   TIBCO Hawk(R) - Container Edition 1.0.0 - 2.0.0
TIBCO Hawk(R) Microagent for TIBCO BusinessWorks(TM) Container
   Edition 1.0.0 - 2.0.0
   TIBCO Rendezvous(R) 8.4.4 and above
   TIBCO(R) Enterprise Administrator 2.1.0 - 2.3.0

Additional Information

When using TIBCO Rendezvous(R)/TIBCO Enterprise Message Service
transport with Hawk 6.2.0 please refer to below section:

TIBCO Enterprise Message Service may be used as the inter process
transport when used with TIBCO Rendezvous as the local transport,
in which case it should be installed before TIBCO Hawk.

TIBCO Hawk 6.2.0 requires that associated or dependent products
(such as TIBCO RunTime Agent, TIBCO Administrator, and various
platform microagents) to be declared compatible with this version
of Hawk. For example, TIBCO Administrator <= 5.8.0, TIBCO
ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks <=5.11, TIBCO Hawk ActiveMatrix Plug-in
Software <=1.2.0, TIBCO BusinessEvents <=5.1.1 are all incompatible
with Hawk 6.2.0 agents and therefore Hawk 6.2.0 should not be
loaded to the same TIBCO home where these products are installed.

For more details please see the Migration and Compatibility section
   in Release notes.

Product-Specific Information

TIBCO Hawk includes a license for the use of TIBCO Rendezvous*
(see Note) as the Hawk transport; this is for the use of TIBCO
Hawk only.

*Note
TIBCO Rendezvous license covers only basic features like
communication in the same network subnet. If Hawk needs to be
used across the subnets, then TIBCO Rendezvous Enterprise
Daemon (such as RVRD) must be licensed separately.

Starting Hawk 5.2.0, TIBCO Hawk includes the TIBCO Hawk EMS
Administrator Plug-in that had been separate component in past
releases.

Starting TIBCO Hawk 5.2.0 TIBCO Hawk Admin agent for TIBCO
Enterprise administrator is being distributed. This agent will
enable TIBCO Enterprise administrator to be a console for TIBCO
Hawk.

Licensing information:
For TIBCO Hawk, Connected Processor means any Processor on a
machine that is monitored by Hawk, or for the following
products Connected Processor means any Pack that is monitored
by Hawk:
- TIBCO BusinessWorksTM Enterprise
- TIBCO(R) Messaging - Enterprise Edition
