TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for LDAP Installation Introduction

TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for LDAP brings LDAP servers into the TIBCO interoperability framework. The adapter allows applications configured for the TIBCO environment to communicate with LDAP servers without any knowledge of LDAP protocol, LDAP APIs, and LDAP server implementation. Applications can use messages on either the JMS or TIBCO Rendezvous transport to retrieve information from or update LDAP servers, or receive changes occurring on the LDAP servers.

This document describes how to install TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for LDAP software.

This chapter explains installation modes, requirements, and other options you should be aware of before starting the installation. Before you install the adapter, read this chapter and fill out the Pre-installation Worksheets.

This software may be available on multiple operating systems. However, not all operating system platforms for a specific software version are released at the same time. Please see the readme file for the availability of this software version on a specific operating system platform.
