Migrating a Project You can migrate the project from LDAP Adapter 6.1.1 to 6.1.2 using the following ways: • Importing a Project • Open Existing Project Importing a Project When you import a project into another project, you add all the resources from the imported project into the current project. To import a Project: 1. Choose Project -> Import Full Project. 2. Choose the respective tab in the Import Project window and provide the information: Table 22 Import Project Value Description Local Repository Import the project from a single repository .dat file. TIBCO Designer displays the Import Options dialog box. See Importing Resources for a description of options. Server Repository Import the project from a server repository (.dat file managed by a TIBCO Administration Server). ZIP Archive Import the project from a ZIP file. 3. Click OK. TIBCO Designer converts the project to multi-file project, then imports the multi-file project. Importing projects can be useful because it bypasses the export step when you want to combine projects. Open Existing Project You can open a project Using the following way: 1. Launch TIBCO Designer from startup Panel. 2. Choose Project. 3. If the TIBCO Designer window is already open then open the TIBCO Designer main window. If you need to open a .dat project, you must convert it first: 1. In the startup Panel, click the Administration tab. 2. Choose DAT to Files. 3. Supply the name of the project dictionary when prompted. You can then open the multi-file project from TIBCO Designer.
