Notes
If you are upgrading, you only need to supply the Oracle DBA password (and name) if you want the installer to perform certain checks to validate that it can upgrade the iProcess Engine database schema. The installer performs these checks when you enter C
on the Oracle Database Connection and Account Details Menu, and needs DBA-level access to check the following items:
• | TAF (see Setting up Oracle Transparent Application Failover (TAF)). |
• | OPEN_CURSORS value (see Configuring Oracle OPEN_CURSORS). |
• | Advanced Queuing configuration (see Disabling Oracle Flashback Query). |
If you do not need the installer to check these items, or you do not have access to the Oracle DBA password and/or name, you can leave this field blank. (Make sure that you have checked these items manually before running the installer.) The upgrade can still continue but these checks will be skipped.
