Installation Types
You can opt for one of the following types of installation:
| • | Basic |
This type of installation is recommended for new users.
The Basic installation type installs a new iProcess Engine using default components and configuration options whenever possible.
| • | Custom |
The Custom installation type is recommended for advanced users.
With Custom installation, you can install iProcess Engine under the following circumstances:
| — | To install a new iProcess Engine, making your own choices for all available configuration options. |
| — | To install a new slave server in a node-cluster iProcess Engine. |
A slave server must use the same node name as the master server, but you cannot choose the node name when you perform a Basic installation. The Basic installation assigns it automatically.
| — | To upgrade an existing iProcess Engine installation. |
