Device Support

The LogLogic EVA supports up to 100k device groups as well as individual devices on an appliance.

Device groups as well as individual log sources are treated as devices. This section lists the hardware and configuration requirements for appliances that will host up to 100k devices.

Minimum Hardware Requirements for 100K Devices

  • CPU – Intel Compatible (2 GHz minimum)
  • Cores - 8 minimum
  • Memory – 32 GB minimum
  • Network Adapter – 1 minimum; up to 6
  • Disk – 500 GB
  • VM Controller – LSI Logic RAID
  • VM Hard Drive – SCSI type
