Adding or Removing Static Routes

You can view the existing static routes, add new routes and delete specified static routes using the Static Routes tab. You can add one or multiple static IPv4 or IPv6 routes at a time.

Procedure

  1. Click the appropriate button:
    • To add one static route, click the Add button. A new empty row is added to enter information.
    • To add multiple static routes, click the Batch Add button. The Add Multiple Static Routes window appears.
  2. Enter the following information for the IPv4 or IPv6 routes, as applicable:
    Scenario IPv4 IPv6
    Adding one route
    • Network IP – IP address for the destination network
    • Netmask – Netmask for the destination network
    • Gateway – Gateway for the destination network
    • Network IP – IP address for the destination network
    • Prefix – Prefix for the destination network
    • Gateway – Gateway for the destination network
    Adding multiple routes
    • Network IP – IP address for the destination network
    • Netmask – Netmask for the destination network
    • Gateway – Gateway for the destination network
    • Network IP – IP address for the destination network
    • Prefix – Prefix for the destination network
    • Gateway – Gateway for the destination network
    For multiple entries use space to separate each entry. You can copy and paste the multiple entries.
  3. Click Save to add the new routes in the Static Routes list.
  4. To remove a static route:
    1. Click the button from the Action column for each static route you want to remove.
    2. Click Yes in the confirmation window to delete the static route.
