Entities Overview
Entities store client-definable information. Entities differ from
attributes in that a member can have multiple values stored for a given entity,
and that each of these may have multiple entity attributes. For example, a
customer may own multiple electronic devices: a cell phone, laptop, digital
camera, and so on. That customer can create an entity called "Devices" that is
capable of holding values for as many devices as are needed. In this example,
the device entity might include attributes such as type, brand, model, serial
number, size, and so on.
